Bathroom Storage Solutions
One of the many things people have issues within their bathrooms is storage space. While large, full baths may have a linen closet or a large amount of storage around and under the sink, some small bathrooms, especially quarter baths, don’t have any or have very little storage space. So what can you do to fix this?
If your bathroom features a pedestal sink, you may lack storage. This is because many bathrooms rely on the cabinets around the sink for storage space. Since you don’t get that with a pedestal sink, you’ve got to figure a way around it. One solution is to put two small shelving units on either side of the sink. This still looks nice, plus you get a bit of storage space.
Over the toilet shelving and storage systems also work well in small bathrooms. These units have very tall legs and are designed to sit over the back of your toilet. You usually still have plenty of room to remove the lid of the toilet tank, so that’s not an issue. Some of these units feature open shelves, while others include doors that allow you a bit of privacy.
Similar to over the toilet shelving, you can also find small hanging cabinets that are meant to be installed in the bathroom. Some of these are very similar to the shelving only without the legs. While they may be intended to be mounted over the toilet, what’s nice about them is that you can place them anywhere in your bathroom.
If you have trouble getting all of your toiletries in the shower or bath, you may want to look for shelves designed to install in the mira electric shower. Some of these hang over the showerhead, while other shelves are attached to a rod that is wedged between the ceiling and one corner of your tub or shower.
